Let us celebrate World Sparrow Day ! Painting Competition by PAWS-Mumbai for children

By Staff ReporterPowai - 13 MARCH 11 : Plant & Animals Welfare Society – Mumbai, an NGO working for Sparrow Conservation in association with PLANET POWAI is organizing an "Drawing Competition" to mark the "World Sparrow Day in Mumbai". Students of all age groups are requested to send their painting / drawing related to sparrows. Schools can also send their students’ creations consolidated, the drawing should be made on A3 size white drawing paper.
Please do write your name, standard / division, school name and your contact details behind the drawing. All the participants who send their creations will receive a certificate and the best 3 (First, Second & Third) will be receiving a trophy. The last date of submitting your entry is 17th March 2011 and result of best 3 will be published on the event of World Sparrow Day on 20th March 2011 issue of PP.
You can drop your entry at LUCKY Stores, Cypress Market, Hiranandani Powai in an envelope marked Sparrow Drawing competition.
If you would like to save sparrow and like to support "Sparrow Conservation Mission - SCM" is an initiative launched by PAWS-Mumbai by installing "My Sparrow Home" which is an artificial nest scientifically design by them, in your balcony, yard, garden where there is little sparrow population left. You can order it by making a nominal contribution to this conservation mission.
