Winners of competitions receiving PAWS-Mumbai Award 2014 Powered by iCONGO Karmaveer Chakra

Sparrow FEST and World Sparrow Day – India celebration organized by Plant & Animals Welfare Society - Mumbai to motivate school students and common citizen to create awareness about the declining number of sparrows and the need to conserve the species. The winners of the various Competitions like Sparrow Poem / Story Writing, Drawing and Photography will be awarded with PAWS-MUMBAI AWARD

 

In this event more than 1000 students, youths and common citizen taken part from different states of India, this event is supported by various national and international record agencies, leading media house and also by NGO’s. This year 33 participants were selected through PAWS-Mumbai selection process. This year Juries were Shri. Rajendra Aklekar : Senior Assistant Editor of Mumbai Mirror as and Shri. Chhatra Singh : Professional Photographer based in New Delhi.

 

PAWS-MUMBAI AWARD is been powered by Apeejay Karmayuga – The Right every Wrong Generation- a campaign instituted by iCONGO to democratize heroism and  Karmaveer Chakra- a medallion for voluntary action instituted in 2009 by iCONGO, in association with the UN.
