Sparrow Drawing, Poem & Story Competition

Bhandup : To make student and youth community sensitive toward the issue of declining sparrow population from the developing cities like Mumbai. Plant & Animals Welfare Society – Mumbai (PAWS-Mumbai) organized various events such as Sparrow Drawing, Poem & Story Competition, in which around 500 students taken part from various schools and individual level from Mumbai & Thane District. The guest of the event was Shri Abhijeet Rane, President of Akhil Bhartiya Maratha Mahasangh.
 

In Drawing Competition 9 Best Students  were awarded, which include 6 Consolation Prizes, 1 Sparrow Poem was selected as Best Poem and 1 Sparrow Story was selected as Best Story. Even School and other people who were actively taken part were honored with Certificate of Appreciation. The event was held at Gopala’s Banquet Hall, Bhandup.
