While talking to media Smt Patil said "I am very proud to honour these little friends and I was very surprise to see their painting. They painted beautifully using vibrant colours. What touched me the most was the message conveyed through their paintings. I specially thanks to PAWS-Mumbai, AFTERNOON VOICE, MUMBAI MANOOS & PLANET POWAI for creating a platform for all these children to showcase their talent and showing their love for this little bird sparrow which has almost becoming extinct from the city. This type of events will definitely play a major role to save natural beauty".
